Your Responsibilities:

  • Support our scientists with the development of any features and products related to medical diagnostics solutions and to your medical specialty
  • Help to identify, interpret and break-down the relevant medical guidelines and accepted knowledge (e.g. regarding disease prevention, diet, activity, and hygiene)
  • Extensively test, medically proof-read and validate the rules and content our scientists are generating
  • Support in the design, conduction and analysis of clinical trials of our solutions
  • Actively contribute to the design, conduction and analysis of research projects that investigate human health trends, diseases and methods of preventive care
  • Preferably, also be actively involved in writing original papers for publication in peer-reviewed medical or scientific journals

Your Profile:

  • You have a medical / professional background in the field of clinical pathology and/ or you have a license to practice medicine with a finished residency program in the field of general medicine and/ or internal medicine.
  • You have gathered significant working experience within your field of specialty in Germany and/or France
  • You apply critical thinking by using strong logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of available solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
  • You embrace challenges joyfully, and approach them with a solution-oriented mind-set
  • You always stay up to date with clinical and professional developments and advances in the scientific/medical field by reading relevant scientific/medical literature and journals
  • You enjoy working in teams, to proactively network and forge links with collaborators
  • Preferably, you’re well experienced with diagnostic tests and a diagnostic laboratory’s general workflow (that’s a plus)
  • Your English as well as French or German is fluent (and the fluency in an additional language is a plus)

Your Responsibilities:

As Entrepreneur-in-Residence, you own a range of exciting projects and work on them in close collaboration with our CEO and the extended management team. You will have insights into the overall strategic matters and naturally gravitate towards responsibilities that make you want to wake up in the morning.

  • Assist in the fundraising process, including the support of investors/VCs, fielding their questions and requests, and walking them through the due diligence process
  • Support with investor relations, including investor updates and communication
  • Work on projects involving either new product tracks, segments, new markets or partnerships (entrepreneur-in-residence work), this involves working with internal resources or third parties
  • Representation of Medicus at business relevant events, conferences and fairs, including giving pitches, talks, and initial introductions
  • Support with market research, intelligence gathering and outreach
  • Screening, selection, coordination, and support of go-to-market and/or distribution partners
  • Support with client-related work, including communication, follow-up, and high-level project management support as well as research of best practice key account management/customer service and setting up internal process
  • Support in implementing new initiatives internally, including scalable processes, tools and guidelines
  • Support with creating and updating documents and decks across different functions (mainly sales and marketing related)

Your responsibilities:

Generally, you will assist and support our Head of New Markets in his broad set of tasks between business development, exploration of new markets, marketing, accounting, admin, travel management, HR, and much more. Focus and support areas will vary based on the business needs and your skill set. Concrete tasks include the following:

 

  • Help with research work throughout all areas of the Medicus operations (this can reach from sales, over marketing to new markets)
  • Adapt our global communications & marketing materials to the Chinese market, including visuals and content, such as for our website, press-releases, presentations, brochures, translations, and client offers
  • Assist the Head of New Markets in business development activities
  • Build and constantly adapt Medicus’ communication material (English to Mandarin)
  • Organise meetings, logistics, administrative and support tasks  
  • Draft and translate emails to prospect clients 
  • Participate in meetings and conference calls with prospective clients 
  • Monitor and follow-up on clients
  • Research, organise and map information on relevant target industries, Medicus’ market positioning, and potential partners

We need you to be the masterful eyes that spot all kinds of issues that our digital products might have (Medicus web products, as well as our iOS and Android app). This includes but is not limited to:

  • Language, Usability, Functionality, Bugs
  • On a regular basis (during 3-weeks-cycled releases), we would need you to go through our app and/ or website- sometimes holistically, sometimes through dedicated features and pages to screen for any kind of problems clients or users might be facing.
  • You would be fully flexible location- and time-wise. Before you start you would get proper training and we will pay a decent hourly rate.
  • You coordinate with the rest of the QA team to analyse and improve the QA process

Your Profile:

  • You are health-tech savvy and in love with great UI and UX
  • You are eloquently in German and English and would immediately spot if something sounds odd or is simply wrong

Your Responsibilities:

  • In this role, you will be our trusted technical advisor, supporting our French Sales Team with your outstanding technical expertise and knowledge of all Medicus’ systems throughout the whole pre-sales and after-sales process- this means:
  • You advise our sales team closely regarding all client-related technical inquiries they might have
  • Identify opportunities that allow the sales team to deliver (further) business winning proposals

Pre-Sales:

  • Collaborate closely with all teams involved in the sales process to allow for a smooth workflow between them, by obtaining and smartly managing their requirements, constraints and objectives
  • You handle our demo setup on GCP
  • You handle the technical integration of our solutions, where you would be expected to plan, schedule and implement the Medicus solutions at the client (on-site and remotely)
  • You are responsible for on-time delivery of the planned and committed roadmap of all integration work

Post-Sales:

  • You provide excellent after-sales support services
  • You are the main contact person for all technical inquiries towards our French-speaking clients, working directly with the client’s technical teams
  • You perform regular system maintenance, hardware and software upgrades, and physical to virtual migrations

Your profile:

  • You are well experienced with cross-platform integration practices and its potential issues, as well as with structured release & deployment best practices
  • You’re experienced in performing regular system maintenance, hardware and software upgrades, and physical to virtual migrations 
  • You’ve already worked with products & services within AWS, Azure, and/or GCP, as well as Linux operating systems and database tools such as SQLite and MySQL
  • You’re familiar with cloud architectural (and preferably also design) best practices including scaling, load balancing, CDNs, and networking 
  • You have good knowledge of PHP, Node.JS, HTML, JQuery, CSS and other programming languages
  • Even under high pressure, you demonstrate excellent judgment and decision-making capability, as well as an eye for detail
